What Was the Challenge That Led Clay County to GOGov?

When Clay County made the switch to GOGov, the driving challenge was one many municipalities across the country face—how to effectively communicate with residents and streamline service requests. Before GOGov, the county was using a different solution, but as the community grew, it became clear that the existing system wasn’t meeting the increasing demand for faster, more efficient services.

With the rapid growth of the population and the construction of the new Expressway, there was a significant increase in both the need for information and the volume of service requests. The county recognized the need for a platform that not only allowed residents to access information easily but also enabled them to report issues and submit requests in a seamless manner.

Clay County sought a solution that would support both efficient communication and service delivery across departments like Public Works and Engineering, while also providing a better user experience for residents. After exploring various options, they found GOGov’s Citizen Notifications and Citizen Requests/311 to be the ideal fit—a solution that integrated seamlessly into their operations and quickly became a daily tool used across the county.
