Checking your water bill, exploring recreation programs and paying your property taxes just got a little bit easier on the go with the launch of the “My Ridgewood” mobile app. The municipality's new tool is available for Apple and Android, bringing new services to a native mobile layout that improves functionality.
Following the launch of a new website earlier this year, village hall is working to stay ahead of the curve with the new high-tech tool. The app is a collaboration with GoGov, which is a national technology provider that works with government agencies of all sizes. On the app stores, the organization is credited with launching hundreds of similar apps for other municipalities and counties across the nation.
One of the main features of the new app is the ability to receive push notifications for important village updates such as road closures and utility outages. The app continues to be updated by staff with more features being added along the way
