Deer Park Connect App: Stay Informed And Engaged

The launch of the City of Deer Park’s app provides residents with a new tool for improved communication and engagement with local government services. The app offers ways to streamline access to essential information. Links to download the app are included in this article.

The City of Deer Park has launched a new mobile app called “Deer Park Connect,” designed to improve communication and engagement with local government services. Available for download on both iOS and Android devices, the app offers a user-friendly platform for interacting with city services.

Key features of Deer Park Connect include a notification system that delivers updates on city events, emergency alerts, and important announcements directly to users’ smartphones. To receive notifications, you must be a registered user. Then, you can choose alerts for the following categories:

  • City Hall Events & Upcoming Meetings
  • Community Events
  • Messages From The Mayor
  • Roadwork & Traffic Advisories
  • Weather Updates

The app also provides access to a range of resources, including a list of parks and trails, a business directory, sanitation schedules, a permit portal, the Deer Park Municipal Code, public safety information, council agendas and minutes, as well as options to leave comments and view FAQs. Videos of Deer Park City Council meetings are not available via the app, however, they are available from the Deer Park Gazette’s YouTube channel at DPGazette.com/youtube.

Additionally, Deer Park Connect offers contact information for city council members and staff, city calendars, and community news to help residents stay connected with local governance.
